services > mine geology
QG have consulting staff with dual skills: geostatistics and
mine geology. This combination enables us to provide more relevant
and focused geostatistical and resource evaluation consulting,
but it also enables QG to do the following:
- Evaluate and review geological logging, mapping and interpretations
as inputs to resource estimation
- In particular review domaining decisions from both geological
and geostatistical (stationarity) viewpoints
- Assist with procedures and guidelines in the area of resource
geology
- Provide Geological managers with peer-review of strategic
geological inputs and developed processes/strategies
- Evaluate geological risk (and the links to resource classification)
in the context of JORC
- Link conditional simulation to geological risk
- Mentoring of resource geologists at all levels and attendant
training and knowledge transfer
QG's geologically trained consultants (and their geology qualifications)
